NUFFIELD MINI ANGELS 50 -v- CSSA PLYMOUTH DEVILS 21
Nuffield Mini Angels have continued their winning streak (five from five) with a convincing win over CSSA Plymouth Devils. The team despite suffering with player injuries, illness and absence put in a great performance. Angels defensive combo of Harvey and McKinley with Louise Dowd at WD first half saw them effectively lock the circle up making it difficult for CSSA to find their shooters. At half time Angels were 25 – 11 to the good and continued to pile on the pressure. CSSA continued to move the ball around effectively but could do little to combat the interlinking Angels play. At half time Steph Sharp (nominated player) moved from C to WD and the Angels attacking combination of Millings (WA), Tempro (GA) and Grigg (GS) continued to work hard to pile the goals on with some great movement and feeding into the circle.
