Nuffield Mini Angels 36 -v- Sprayaway 13

Nuffield Angels made it 7  from 7 with a win over bottom placed Sprayaway.   In a well contested match Nuffield were able to tie up the Sprayaway attack with some great defensive play from Elisa McKinley (GK) and Louise Dowd (GD).   The centre court combination of Sharon Broughton - returning from a back from injury - (WD), Steph Sharp (C) and Sharon Grigg (WA) saw Nuffield put together some good interlinking play.    At half-time Nuffield were 21 – 8 ahead.  

The second half saw Jo Harvey come on at GK and some changes in the Defensive end.   Donna O’Connor showed her shooting prowess at GS but unfortunately had to leave the Court before the start of the 4th quarter due to an ankle injury.   Nikki Millings moved to GS from GA and combined well with Sharon Grigg to see Nuffield run out eventual winners.

Congratulations to Donna O’Conner who picked up the nominated player award for Nuffield
