PLYMOUTH PILGRIMS 2 24 -v- ANIXTER 30

Anixter quickly took the lead in the first quarter thanks to some great shooting by GA Kerry Spry (nominated player) and GS Susie Carroll and were leading 12 – 6.  Pilgrims started to pull back in the 2nd quarter with some fast paced passing by C Katie Bynoth.  They continued to put on the pressure, feeding the ball to GS Chelsey Sullivan who put some great shots with the teams level pegging at 22 all at the end of the 3rd quarter.  Undeterred Anixter showed some good attacking play to pick up all five points in their first win of the season.   Becky Barbor for Pilgrims (WD) picked up the Anixeter player nomination.
