Committee
Chair - Sharron Robbie

Elected to the post of Chair in May 2006 Sharron has held a number of positions on Club, League and County committees over the past 16 years. A keen netball player Sharron has played at both Club and County level in the past, representing West Devon over a number of seasons. Sharron is an active player and is Chairman of Plymouth Marjon Netball Club, which fields a number of teams at both junior and senior level within the PDNL.
Treasurer - Sue Grainger

Sue took over as league treasurer in 2004, as well as already being on the committee for the Junior League. Although not playing netball anymore Sue still has a keen interest in the game due to her involvement with junior and senior leagues as well as supporting her daughter who plays netball within senior PDNL and regional leagues.
Membership Secretary - Maureen Rowe

Elected to the post of Membership Secretary in 2000, Maureen has been an active member of the PDNL committee for 15 years. A 'B' Award umpire and 'C' tester, Maureen is also actively involved with the Junior section of the PDNL. She has been the main driving force behind the success of the junior league and is very keen to see junior players move on up to the senior league.
General Secretary - Kelly Nicholson

Kelly has played within the PDNL league for many years and has been on the PDNL committee since 2003 acting as a representative for a number of divisions within the League. Kelly took on the challenging role of General Secretary in 2006. Kelly manages, coaches and plays within the newly formed Plympton Netball Club.
Fixtures Secretary - Kathy Bunney

A member of Ivybridge Netball Club, Kathy has been playing within the Plymouth League for a number of years. As well as being a keen netball player Kathy is also a C award umpire and regularly umpires within the majority of league divisions. Kathy has served on the league committee in the past in a number of roles and is now looking forward to the challenges that being Fixtures Secretary brings!
Umpiring Secretary - Jill Holroyd

Jill has been playing netball within the Plymouth League for a number of years,joining the League committee as Umpiring Secretary in September 2006. An active member of Ivybridge Netball Club Jill also acts as club secretary and is a qualified umpire.
Publicity Officer - Jo Jones

Joanne had not picked up a netball since leaving school, until she joined the Plymouth League in July 2005. Not one to do things by half, within four months Joanne had volunteered for the post of Publicity Officer on the committee, she has not looked back since. Currently playing for Plympton Netball Club Joanne has used her enthusiasm and commitment to netball to re-establish links between the League and local media.
Results Secretary A&B - Paula Holmes

Results Secretary for both Premier A and B divisions, Paula has been a member of the PDNL committee since September 2005. After returning to netball nine years ago, Paula successfully took on the role of Secretary for Fort Stamford Netball Club and currently captains the Club's top team, Fort Stamford 1. From little acorns big things grow and Paula has been crucial in the development of the club, which now boosts two senior teams within the PDNL league, and a squad of over 30 players.
Results Secretary 1&2 - Janet Morgan

Janet has been playing in the Plymouth league for many years after forming her own team. Currently playing in Premier B of the League Janet and her team are part of the Tamarside Netball 2000 club. A keen player Janet is also a 'C' Award umpire.
Results Secretary 3 - Maddy Doyle

Maddy is the PDNL results secretary for division three. A keen netball player at primary and secondary school Maddy had a four year gap before returning to the sport. Playing in the Plymouth League for ten years Maddy also manages a team which has just joined forces with Plympton Netball Club. Maddy loves netball and cannot envisage a time when she is not playing.
Results Secretary 4&5 - Paul London

Results Secretary for the PDNL Paul has been around the netball scene for a number of years. Starting with the now defunct Plympton Netball Club Paul now Chairs and coaches successful PDNL Club side 'Puffins'. Paul has also held the umpiring secretary,publicity officer and fixtures secretary positions within the league during his netballing career.
Welfare Officer - Bronwyn Prosser

Netball passion developed for Bronwyn in her school years here in Plymouth. After played locally and regionally in Merseyside, Kent, Sussex and London (Middlesex) Bronwyn came back to Plymouth and joined Civil Service Netball club. Twelve years after joining them and playing again a local and regional levels Bronwyn hung up her trainers in preference for life as a Netball bureaucrat! After a stint as playing and non playing chair for Civil and taking them to gold caps status Bronwyn remains the welfare officer for the Civil service and has had the same role on the PDNL since 2002. As part of her portfolio Bronwyn has offered training on Duty of Care across the county and has also represented grass roots netball and PDNL on England Netball's national Duty of Care planning group.
Junior League Rep - Linda Darke

Linda joins the PDNL committee as Junior League Representative after being actively involved with the junior section since its inception. She maintains close links to it through her daughter who currently plays in the PDNL junior league. Linda has also played netball herself for many years and currently plays for Ace, part of Ivybridge Netball Club.
