Devon Sports Awards 2010 5 Feb 10 The Annual Devon Sports Awards are now open for nominations to recognise those volunteers, coaches and officials in sport who work tirelessly behind the scenes for the good of their sport. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 28th February 2010 with the ceremony taking place at Paignton Zoo on Thursday 1st April.

Plymouth Athlete to Join Team Bath U19 NTL Netball Squad 9 Nov 09 Plymouth athlete Danielle Cain was successful at her recent trial to join Team Bath Under 19 NTL netball squad. Players from across the South West were given the opportunity to trial for the Team Bath National Talent League squad on Friday evening and it will be the 15-year-old’s first season playing for Team Bath. Cain currently plays for Plymouth Marjon Netball Club. Cain was selected from 40 athletes into the squad of 16 which will train fortnightly at The University of Bath.More...
